Nancy Silberberg is an escrow officer with over thirty years of independent escrow experience working with residential, commercial, manufactured housing, and business sale escrows throughout the state of California. In 2009, Nancy founded Altus Escrow, Inc., an independent escrow service dedicated to providing an unparalleled customer service experience to its clients.

In addition to her three decades of experience as an escrow officer, Nancy is also one of the chief advocates for independent escrow companies and title agents at the state and national level. Nancy has served multiple terms as President of the Escrow Institute of California (EIC), where she spearheaded legislative efforts to support California’s Escrow Settlement Industry in Congress and in the California State Legislature. She currently serves as the EIC National Affairs Chairwoman and continues to speak nationally on behalf of the industry.

In addition to her work with EIC, Nancy also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Independent Land Title Agents (NAILTA), the Tri-County Escrow Association, the California Escrow Association, and is a member of the American Escrow Association.

A graduate of the University of California, Riverside with a degree in Political Science and Law and Society, Nancy is a Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim season ticket holder, and can often be found at Angels Stadium. A bi-coastal baseball fan, Nancy also enjoys cheering on the New York Mets.

When not watching baseball, Nancy spends time underwater scuba diving; she is both a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and the Divers Alert Network (DAN).
